Department of Homeland Security IBS Grants Announced

All of the 25 intercity bus security grants awarded by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) went to American Bus Association private bus operator members who applied for bus security grants earlier this year. The companies will receive nearly $10 million in federal assistance to help them make security improvements to their operations. The Department of Homeland Security announced the grant recipients this week. To date, the private motorcoach industry has received nearly $50 million in bus security grants for the entire industry.
